Energy Speaker Series

The i4energy Spring Speaker Series, held at noon every Friday through April 22 at UC Berkeley, will be shown simultaneously by video broadcast in Room 100 of UC Merced’s Science and Engineering Building. The series includes researchers from the Center for Information Technology in the Interest of Technology (CITRIS), which includes UC Merced, UC Berkeley, UC Davis, UC Santa Cruz, the California Institute for Energy and the Environment (CIEE) and Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory.

Psychological Sciences Talk Series

An eclectic talk series designed to bring in a variety of approaches and research topics of interest to psychological sciences, these lectures are at noon on Wednesdays in COB 272.

MTS Lecture Series

The Mind, Technology and Society (MTS) Lecture Series presents Michael Frank of Stanford University on April 23 in the Chancellor's Conference Room (KL 232).

Lectures take place at 3 p.m. each Monday this spring in KL 232 unless noted otherwise. The lectures are free and open to the campus community and general public.

Conversations with Entrepreneurs Speaker Series – April 26

Conversations with Entrepreneurs speaker series is a forum for guest speakers from the entrepreneurship arena to share their experiences with students and the UC Merced community. John de Lancie, actor, writer and founder of nonprofit Voice from Within, will speak at 7:30 p.m. on April 26 in Classroom and Office Building, Room 120.

Best known for his recurring role as “Q” on the various Star Trek series, de Lancie will be speaking about his personal journey toward becoming an entrepreneur.
